BA/BF M-Series Premium Brake Systems
If you thought that all street performance brake systems were the same, then think again. The new PBR Performance M-Series brake system has taken a massive leap forward by incorporating the very latest pad-per-piston technology.
The latest offering from the PBR Performance crew draws its DNA from a brake system specifically developed to stop the high speed Z06 Corvette - dubbed by GM as the fastest Corvette ever built.
The M-Series system has been fine tuned to tame late model Falcons and Commodores equipped with plenty of grunt. When Herrod Motorsport fitted the system to racing legend Dick Johnson’s personal DJR320 Series he was emphatic about the results citing.

In keeping with the PBR Performance braking philosophy, M-Series kits are virtually a DIY proposition with everything supplied in the kit to undertake the transformation professionally.
This brake system is massive. Designed and developed by the PBR Performance team in Australia, the kit features 6-piston aluminium monoblock front calipers and 4-piston aluminium monoblock rear calipers all mounted over massive 2-piece slotted disc rotors. These are true performance calipers having been abuse tested to 1,000°C at the pad face with virtually no deterioration in performance.
The 20 disc pads stopping this system are equipped with a specially formulated high fade resistant performance friction formulation. By matching one disc pad to each caliper piston the unique pad-per-piston technology eliminates the development of tapered pad wear which can be a significant issue with many opposed piston calipers utilising only two long pads per caliper.
Pedal feel and response time is greatly improved through a combination of increased caliper stiffness derived from the cast-in bridge section and the fitment of high performance stainless steel braided hose lines.
All up this is a serious performance brake upgrade tailored for serious motoring enthusiasts. And you won’t squeeze it in to anything under an 18" wheel.
