Faster acceleration, higher cornering speeds and braking "G-Forces" can mean that your standard volume Boss V8 oil pan may struggle to deliver adequate oil pressure, reducing power and increasing the potential for engine damage. If you plan to take you BA, BF or FG Boss V8 onto the track, or for club or rally use, then we highly recommend the fitment of our Club Race Oil Pan.
Capacity has been increased from the standard factory 5.5 litres to 7.5 litres with our exclusive tapered side capacity section. The tapered sides direct the oil to the centre of the floor area to ensure capacity collects around the oil pump pick up. This increased volume is combined with our Pro-Mesh removable windage tray to scavenge the most amount of oil from the crankshaft, reducing oil drag on the crankshaft to an absolute minimum.
