FG V8 Headers & Cats
Herrod Motorsport now has available headers & hi flow cat packages for the FG XR8 & GT models.
These new headers have been manufactured to fit the confines of the new FG model incorporating 1” & 7/8th primaries with a 3” collector. From there we have used a 3” inlet stainless 100 cell catalytic convertor with a 2.5” outlet. These headers are then Hi Temp coated.
In testing at Herrod Motorsport on our FG XR8 ute, these new larger headers have shown increases across the rev range on a stock engine, and will really show their potential for use in hi horsepower naturally aspirated and supercharged applications.
Combined with our cat back exhausts, these features ensure maximum flow, torque, power and fuel economy, delivering the best all round solution for your performance exhaust needs. Expect to see a total power gain of at least 22 rear wheel kilowatts over your stock vehicle.
