Tuning seminar to be held on the 18/19 October

Herrod Motorsport, now the Australian dealer and distributor for SCT, are proud to announce our new series of BA - FG Series Tuning seminars using the well known and supported SCT Advantage Tuning Software.

Presented as a real world 'Theory and Practical' training course with over 10 contact hours across two days of learning, Herrod have secured the services of the original Australian SCT accredited Ford PCM Tuning specialist Martin Donnon to present and host what is an informative and lively session that covers all of the important topics to allow you the tuner to maximise profit and minimise wasted tuning time.

This session is excellent for both the beginner and advanced user with the course outline dealing with real world tuning from start to finish without any un-necessary padding. There is even a Q&A session should Donnon let you get a question in edgewise!

Course Topics cover the following

THEORY
General Ford/Visteon Management Introduction
- Ford PCM BA-FG layout
- Breaking the PCM up into blocks with VID
- How the speed density system works and internal calculation
- Torque Management and how it actually works
- The mechanics of upload/download and what happens if you break it

BA Series
- Has everyone forgotten the 3 valve?
- Tuning the 'Knock Sensor free zone' BOSS V8 including the high compression 290
- Normally aspirated 4.0 the keys to power tuning
